PARIS
Documenting life around
Paris, FR
For over two decades, Toronto was a city in which my life was photographed in familiar compositions. The streets, the skyline, the rhythm of routine provided both comfort and constraint. But change, although most reluctant, arrived in the form of a simple yet profound question: Where else?
It was a question shaped by love and concern, a call to step beyond the frame of experience. Paris—a city of light and history—became a catalyst for transformation. At first, the move was meant to be temporary, a bold detour before a planned return to the familiar… but the journey unfolded differently.
Europe revealed itself as a paragon of contrasts—ancient and modern, structured and spontaneous, grand and intimate. The architecture whispered, the cuisine awakened, and nature, no longer distant, became an ever-present companion.
And so, the choice became clear—not a return to what was, but an embrace of what could be. Paris was no longer just a stop along the way; it was home.
